And if you'd like to see the animation you mention, The Snow Queen from 1957, you can find it (in English dubbed form) on Youtube. There's quite a lot of old animation on there if you know what you're looking for.
I tried to focus on the couple of elements from the presentation that meant the most to me and look further into them but there was quite a lot of things that I didn't get into that were very interesting too.
I still recommend listening to Helen if you have the opportunity but I'm happy this helped in the meanwhile.
