A peek into some of the characters that inhabit this world
For now…
All the characters here are part of a larger story, one that is still being written.
They are still growing and changing, be it their names, personalities or even the art style, but I for one, enjoy not only seeing the end result of peoples stories but also where they came from, all the prototypes and ideas that maybe didn’t materialize. This is part of my journey and now it will be part of yours.
From the start I realized just how difficult it would be to share these characters, not because of selfishness in wanting to keep them to myself, but how to present them. I don’t want to spoil the story, but it also shouldn’t be a specs sheet, they have personalities and quirks that cannot be made justice in the way we’re presenting here. But we shall give it a good try nonetheless.
Book 1
Mago - two pointy ears, a green tail and bucketful of determination, we follow his story through the world of Obalan as he sets out to fulfil his dream.
Ash - A small blue flame, with a hot temper, he’s been a part of a mages collection for a long, long time until he met Mago and they became travelling companions.
Atlan - or Great Tome Atlan, as he would insist to be called, a thoroughly unpleasant book to be around, full of impetuous grandiose
Dorina - “a tough old bird” would be a very accurate description. A Bolter by trade and by name, she makes a living outside the city walls, where she became the adoptive mother to an unusual boy who arrived through mysterious circumstances.
Muffulu, Tuffulu & Boboro - three little rascally Pigmin, they are avid scavengers who are in dire need of help when they run into Mago.
Lucidor - The story demands that you know nothing else from this shadowy figure besides that, and so it will be.
