Marco, it's hard to describe the feeling of having contributed to something like this with my music. I know every stroke of your brush is done out of a passion for your characters and your medium, so being able to add something to this project is an absolute honor.
Dude I have always wanted to animate my writing! I actually started out wanting to make my own animated series before I realized I couldn’t do it by myself and I couldn’t draw very well. So, I stuck to the storytelling side of animation, and now I’m here! It’s so cool seeing you bring your ideas to life! Good stuff!
As AI creeps into more and more corners of our lives I feel a bit discouraged that so much art (even on Substack) is generated by an algorithm. I’ve dabbled with it myself because it’s so *easy*
Then I see a post like this and it’s like a breath of fresh air. Images and music lovingly made by hand. It’s an essential reminder for me there’s still a need for us to draw, play, write, struggle; all the things that make us human.
This comment was a real treat for me! I like to think of my work as you did, I go out and look for landscapes and people around me to inspire me rather than working from what I can find online, I think it gives it a rougher and grittier, but also more authentic feel.
